Loved it!
Posted : 17 years ago on 5 February 2008 12:18 (A review of Cutie Honey)I absolutely loved this movie. The characters are awesome and the story has good doses of cuteness and sad moments.

Bad
Posted : 17 years ago on 5 February 2008 12:15 (A review of 28 Weeks Later)I'm not much of a fan of the genre, so my expectations for the movie were rather low. Considering this, I can at least say I was not disappointed.
The movie was a big pile of clichés. Fortunately for me, I was in a rather good mood and didn't have an increase of OCD symptoms, because the movie isn't friendly to me on that aspect.
The characters' behavior was generally stupid and unjustified, like in pretty much every movie of the kind.

Moving
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:22 (A review of A Clockwork Orange)I like this movie. I know this statement will immediately make some people assume that I like it because it is cool to like it, because it makes so many lists of "essential movies".
However, I like it because of what's in the movie in itself. It makes lists and gets a high rating because it's great.
It's deeply disturbing because it has a disturbing theme. A person such as Alex has a behavior which we should not oversee.
The movie is greatly done, with an excellent addition of music. The actors are also amazing. Malcolm McDowell's interpretation is nothing but brilliant.
As for the story itself, we owe this to the book, of course, but I will allow myself to comment on its greatness. Alex might be twisted, but he certainly is not the only one. The entire movie is filled with weirdos and sickos (humans, after all) and I cannot help but detest each one of them. Yet, everything is interlaced so well.

An Extraordinary Movie
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:17 (A review of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)I have absolutely loved this movie!
The ambiance was deeply disturbing and the plot was most interesting in its twists. I find both good and bad in the ending that had to be added (the one where the narrator is in the asylum).
If you dislike the plot, you can still enjoy the beautiful sets.

Just Too Much The Same
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:15 (A review of The Rage: Carrie 2)What makes a good sequel is when you bring a lot of unique elements (or a continuation of the story). Here, the film brings modifications to the original story, but really, they are either meaningless or are given too little importance.
The main difference is the change of location, making the party-gone-bad happen in a private home rather than in school. Woo for the big change.
I have nothing to stay in terms of acting or filmmaking, but plot-wise, this movie brings nothing new to the story.

Another Bad Sequel
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:12 (A review of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason)As with many sequels, I decided to watch it because I had enjoyed the first movie a lot. This one, however, was quite a disappointment.
I found Bridget's character unlikeable. The plot seemed to have been written by a 15-year-old girl in her Friday night fantasies over the cool jock of the class.

Pathetic
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:10 (A review of Not Another Teen Movie)This is most certainly one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. I've had my teen movie phase and I always like parodies, even of movies I love. This thing, however, was terrible.
It was stupid (in a bad way, that is) and the jokes were lame.

Horrible
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 28 July 2007 12:09 (A review of Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd)I had enjoyed the first movie, partly because I love Jim Carrey. However, when I watched this horrible sequel, I could not help but detest it.
It had a poor story and I didn't like the actors. It was too obviously made only to get some money off an old success.

Sorry but that list was made after I deleted my Want To Watch list as I wanted to start over. It isn't an official list. Cheers for the help though.
